Our Content Areas
Our content is created by youth who share as they learn
Our content is about “how we get stronger together”. We focus on helping kids who are living in high stress communities and don’t have access to targeted care. Our purpose is to create a place where young people can learn 24/7 about the science behind emotional development, discover that they are not alone, and access resources at no cost.
BBGTV.org is our website for youth, created by youth content creators to demonstrate, share, and teach self-care behaviors, promote and maintain a healthy self-awareness and calm nervous system responses to high stress situations. An important element of BBGTV.org is to create a catalog of targeted content that can be accessed anytime, including a list of resources, tools, and messaging, that supports vulnerability and seeking support from trusted sources. BBGTV.org presents our resilience tools: the Building Blocks for Resilience and includes a blog, our BBG Bootcamp trainings, podcast, Youtube Channel and latest social media posts. Media is created weekly to keep content fresh and relevant to the issues facing youth today.
BBG Bootcamp Online or in-person provides information about the science behind our cognitive, emotional, and social responses to trauma, stress, and adversity. View our first Bootcamp.
CREST – Community Resilience and Environment Sustainability Talks Climate is an online mini-course to mentally and emotionally prepare us for the impending climate crisis. CREST is about how we can physically, mentally, and emotionally prepare while adopting sustainable living tools and how to become advocates for positive change in our community. BBG recently completed the pilot phase of the CREST program in collaboration with the EaRTH Center at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
